RCE Grand Rapids
A class of students researched and designed the service and experience for the inaugural Regional Centre of Expertise Grand Rapids event for the United Nations.
An RCE stands for a Regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development and it’s a network of organizations acknowledged by the United Nations University to educate on sustainable development in its community.
Laurel Stanley, a local expert on UX and Service Design, led the class through an whole Service Design process. Students performed stakeholder mapping, stakeholder interviews, persona profiles, moodboards, customer journey mapping, service blueprint mapping, followed by the execution of design deliverables in small teams. The teams included branding, sponsorship, website, copywriting, and locations.
